Eligibility
Any college student from any school can participate. You must register prior to the event to be guaranteed a spot in the hackathon. bit.ly/2018hack
Teams will be sized 4 people or less.
You can compete with a team of more than 4 people, but there will only be four prizes.
Requirements
Any project that is hardware-based, software-based, a mix of both, or just an idea can be entered.
Hardware projects are anything containing physical components.
Software projects are anything involving code and programming.
Mix can be a combination of both(e.g. Arduino projects).
Idea projects are any proof of concept for a project that has research behind it and is feasible to produce.
Prizes
1st Place Prize
Arduino Nano with component starter kit(includes LEDs, buttons, headers, resistors, and potentiometers)
First place chooses prizes first, followed by Second place, then Third place.
Best Presentation Prize
Standard-sized light bulb that has up to 15 colors, and can be controlled with remote.
Workshop Raffle Prize
Power banks with 2600mAh
Social Media Raffle Prize
$20 Amazon Gift Card for Winner of Social Media Raffle
